Girls Basketball

Congratulations to the girls basketball team for making it to the sweet 16 of the GHSA state tournament with a win over Loganville last Friday night. While the girls fell short of advancing last night at Eagles Landing, they still put together a remarkable season.  Seniors Kiana, Ayanna, Anjelique, Madison, Destiny and Evelyn will be missed.  This group of seniors has been a part of multiple LSHS Lady Lion records during their time here. Great job ladies. Coach Mills would like to thank the administrators, teachers, and students who came out to support the lady lions.  It was great to have that Lion support in the stands!

Additional congratulations go out to Lady Lion standout Kiana J.  Her jersey was just added to the LSHS Girl's Basketball Wall of Fame as the program's all-time leading scorer.  Her jersey will hang in the new gym alongside the jerseys of the number 2 (Leah B. - 1425 points, jersey #3) and number 3 (Tashara J. - 1237 points, jersey #2) all-time scorers.  Kiana finished her career at LSHS with 1729 points and a current GPA of 3.375.
