On March 28, students have the opportunity to participate in the Reality U Financial Literacy Event.  It will be held on our campus during 2nd, 6th or 8th period in the Upper Gym.  The cost is $10.00 in cash only.  The completed parent permission form and payment are due by March 14, 2018 to Ms. Millinor in the Middle Office.

Reality U is a 90 minute financial literacy event designed to help students understand some of the realities involved in preparing for an employable future and adulthood.  Most importantly, Reality U makes the connection between hard work in school and success in life. At the event, students are provided an adult scenario complete with marital status, number of children, occupation and net monthly income.  During this fast-paced hands-on exercise, students visit a variety of booths to "purchase" housing, transportation, communication services, childcare, food, utilities, insurance, etc.  Students are amazed to see how far their income does or does not stretch.  Ultimately, Reality U helps students make a direction between the choice of staying in school and success and financial stability in life.

See and print the Reality U Survey and Parent Permission form.
