Bio

I believe that the role of a teacher is to “uncover the question that the answer hides” (James Balewin). As such, I subscribe to the instructional strategy espoused by Socrates and regularly rely on inquiry and collaboration in the classroom. As a teacher, I strive to help students understand and acknowledge the value of a challenging curriculum. I believe that all students, regardless of innate ability or academic background, are capable of achieving success in the most rigorous courses when given appropriate resources and support. I provide that support to my students while pushing the limits of what they believe is possible and challenging them to achieve their personal best.
