Education

I graduated from North Georgia College and State University (now known as the University of North Georgia) in 2006.  In college I majored in history and double minored in both Psychology and Leadership.  I was also a full member of the Corps of Cadets at North Georgia.  After college I worked at both the Atlanta History Center as a museum educator and the Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum.  In 2011 I decided to return to school to earn my teaching certificate in Social Studies.

My first teaching position was as a supply teacher in Cobb County at Tapp Middle School teaching 7th and 8th grade history.  In 2012 I accepted a teaching position at Pebblebrook High School in world history and United States history.  After my contract was up at Pebblebrook I accepted a position teaching US History here at Lithia Springs.
