Prior to being a school counselor, I was a licensed professional counselor. I worked primarily throughout my career with adolescents, but I also worked with counseling the adult population when necessary. For the last few years of my mental health counseling career, I worked as a program manager for a behavioral health center.

Working with adolescents was always the most uplifting, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to change my career to school counseling after volunteering as a school counselor at a local school. I have been a Professional School Counselor at Lithia Springs High School since August 2008.

My passion is to serve the needs of adolescents, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and assist them in navigating through what is usually the most difficult and important time in their lives. I believe that every child can and should have a challenging learning experience that prepares them for their life's true purpose, and I work toward that goal every day.

I like learning languages, staying fit in all aspects, reading, and traveling. However, my greatest joys in life come from raising my daughters and growing with my husband. I am also the proud parent and host parent of Lithia Springs High School/STEM magnet graduates!
